Classes

Below are a list of Classes currently run by Creative movements. We are also able to arrange bespoke Classes for groups or individuals.

The fee for the twelve-week term is £156. Dance and Art (One hour with materials provided) -£168)
For additional children from the same family, the fee is £143.

Creative Movements – Age: Toddler to Adult!
Dance, Movement, Rhythm, Story, Fun.

Dance - Age: Rising 3-4 yrs and 4-6 yrs- STARTS Tues 14th and Wed 15th Sept
A more structured and technical class to include three different dance styles.
Ballet, Modern Jazz, Musical theatre. Over the term all 3 styles will be covered and then woven into a final performance to show at the end of term.

Modern Jazz/Street Dance - Age: 5-8 years-STARTS Wed15th Sept
A lively combination of street dance and Modern Jazz routines-Boys and Girls welcome.

Dance and Art - Age: 3-5 years
Dance, Story telling and Art work.

Musical Theatre - Age: 3-6 year
A combination of dance and songs from famous musicals such as Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Mary Poppins and Mamma Mia. It includes voice work, songs, drama and dance routines.

Theatre Production Class - Age: 5-9 years
Over the term we will write and create our own musical performance.
To include dance, drama, singing, musical theatre, art work, Script writing, mime, voice work and final performance.

Creative Movements en Francais - Age: 2-3 years
This new class provides an opportunity for children to learn another language through Dance/movement and stories.
The Creative Movements class will be conducted mainly in French, however English will also be spoken when necessary to help the children fully understand the language as we go along. The class will involve, dance, movement, story and enactment of the story. This is an opportunity for children to enjoy a CM session and also to begin to learn a new language through having fun! Fluent French also very welcome.

Mums and Toddlers - Age: 15-22 months (approx)
Toddlers must be walking or about to walk!
A time for you and your toddler to enjoy movement, music, songs and story together and with other members of the group!

 Adults Movement - Age: Adults
A time for you to explore and excel in your own natural movement. At your own pace, discover and enjoy your body moving. Realize the importance of movement and release to create balance in a stressful day. Please enquire for details.

Private Lesson’s and Small Groups - Age: No age restriction
Private lessons and small group sessions are also offered on request. They include all the above classes. They can be arranged to take place in one of the studios, your home or venue of your choice.

Special Needs - Age: No age restriction
As a drama/movement therapist, Ginny also works in private practice with children and adults. Using drama and movement as a therapeutic medium allows expression and communication between the therapist and the participants who engage in the session.
Sessions are usually held for 50 minutes to one hour and can be arranged for small groups or private sessions.

Story Telling - Age: 2 upward
The magical world of story telling at any age is appealing. Listening, imagining, enacting. A story can be interpreted in many ways.
Through dance, instruments, drama, voice, mime and games we discover and fully enjoy stories.
